Chronic pain is simply defined as a pain that persists for a period of six months or longer. According to statistics, more than 100 million people in the US suffer from chronic pain and chances are you may be one of them! The pain experienced can be continuous or episodic, mild or excruciating, inconvenient or incapacitating.
These signals of pain remain active for months, sometimes even years in severe cases, and this can take both an emotional and physical toll on a person. At Serenity Wellness Centre, we offer chronic pain management to help you alleviate or treat pain, that too, without the use of over-the-counter medications or drugs.

What We Offer?

When it comes to chronic pain, the most common sources of pain stem from backaches, headaches, pain from injury and joint pain. Other types of chronic pain include sinus pain, carpal tunnel syndrome, tendinitis and pain affecting certain parts of the body, such as the neck, shoulders, feet and pelvis. Even generalized nerve or muscle pain can develop into a chronic condition.
The physical impact of chronic pain, along with its emotional toll, can make it difficult to perform daily activities. Upon your arrival at our centre, our qualified and trained chronic pain experts will conduct a thorough diagnosis utilizing the latest technology to determine the type, timing and location of the pain.
Once done, a customized treatment plan will be created to address those potential issues, reducing pain and improving overall function. We have a number of treatment options available to effectively treat or alleviate the symptoms of chronic pain, and will recommend one or a combination of these to help you with pain management, including but not limited to:
•    Nerve Blocks
•    Medications
•    Electrical Stimulation
•    Acupuncture
•    Relaxation Therapies
•    Less Invasive Physiotherapy
•    Massage Therapies
•    Meditation.
